Cape Town Whale Watching Tours - full day
As from the cold South African winter month of June, South Africa's popular holiday town of Hermanus welcomes it's guests of honour. Until November these giants of the sea grace our shores with their presence.
Their arrival marks the time for mating and birth, and the sandy sea bottom of Hermanus provides the most suitable environment. Hermanus, referred to as the whale watching capital of the world, receives thousands of Cape Town tourists spending the day to experience these creatures.
Above are the details of our standard Cape Town Whale Tours. Please go ahead and click on the link for further details and booking procedures. We can arrange private tours should you wish, along with assistance in booking your hotels and airport transfers.
Our Whale Watching Tours take you to the apple area of Grabouw, after a scenic cruise over Sir Lowry's Pass. After leaving Hermanus we will take another course back along the picturesque coastline of False Bay. We do pick ups and drop offs from all Cape Town Hotels.
The Southern Right Whale is the specific specie making it's way to South Africa shores from June to November. The climate, temperature of the water and tides provide these whales with the perfect breeding and mating environment.
